New in Theaters: “A Haunting in Venice” and “Camp Hideout”

1.  A Haunting in Venice  (PG-13)  Trailer

This is a sequel to Agatha Christie’s “Death on the Nile”, with Kenneth Branagh returning as the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.  It takes place in post-World War 2 Venice on All Hallow’s Eve (Halloween). 

A now-retired Poirot attends a séance at a haunted palazzo.  But when a guest is murdered, he must once again solve a murder.  It also stars Michelle YeohTina FeyJamie Dornan (“Fifty Shades of Grey”), and Kelly Reilly from “Yellowstone”.

2.  Camp Hideout  (PG)  Trailer  (Limited)

A troubled foster teen named Noah finds himself in trouble again when he steals from two big city goons.  Instead of going to juvenile hall, he’s sent to a summer camp.  While there, he opens up and makes friends.

When the goons track him down to get back what he stole, Noah recruits his new friends to help build a hideout filled with booby traps, zip lines, and bees.

Christopher Lloyd is the grumpy camp owner and it also stars Corbin Bleu (“High School Musical”) and Amanda Leighton (Freeform’s “The Fosters”) as camp leaders.
