Five Random Facts for Thursday

Here are some random facts for you.

1.  The game Twister” became popular after being featured on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson.  It was played by Johnny and Eva Gabor on the May 3rd, 1966 episode.

2.  When “Django Unchained” came out in 2012, it was Leonardo DiCaprio’s first movie in 16 years where he didn’t have top billing.  He was listed third, after Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz.  The last time before that was in 1996, when he was listed after Meryl Streep in “Marvin’s Room”.

3.  Children are banned from living in Sun City, Arizona, because they take being a retirement community VERY seriously.  Kids are allowed to visit their grandparents, but only for nine days max.

4.  Woods County, Minnesota is further north than any other county in the United States, because Alaska doesn’t HAVE counties.

5.  The guy who created Dos Equis wasn’t the most interesting man in the world.  However, he was born in Germany, and he randomly loved the idea of making a Mexican beer.  So he moved to Mexico in 1897 to create it.
