Here are some random facts for you.

1.  Crocodiles are more closely-related to birds than to lizards, snakes, or turtles.

2.  In 1858, London battled something called “The Great Stink”, when human waste overflowed their medieval wooden sewers, and created three massive outbreaks of contagious disease.

3.  Raleigh became the capital of North Carolina because the state legislators really liked a bar in the area, Isaac Hunter’s Tavern.

4.  Jack Nicholson’s contract for “Batman” gave him a percentage of the sequels.  So even though he wasn’t in “Batman Returns”“Batman Forever”, or “Batman and Robin”, he made over $100 million from them.

5.  Hawaii’s flag uses the British flag in the top left corner, even though Hawaii was never a British colony.  They included it as a symbol of friendship.
